The short version. The app has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or phone number. Your roll and registration numbers are kept on your phone. Published exam results are cached on our server so the next person searching the same roll gets an instant answer — but nothing is stored about who searched. The app shows ads through Google AdMob; your roll number and results are never shared with advertisers.

Who we are
SSC Results 2026 is an independent Android app that helps students in Bangladesh check JSC, SSC, HSC and equivalent examination results. It is published by Tech Internal.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any education board or government body. Results come from the publicly available Education Board Results service at eboardresults.com and educationboardresults.gov.bd.
What we do not collect
- No account, sign-in or profile.
- No name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- No contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera access.
- No precise location. The app asks for no location permission at all — advertising uses an approximate region derived from your IP address, never GPS.
What stays on your phone
Everything you enter or choose is stored in the app's own storage on your device. It is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Saved roll numbers — exam, year, board, roll number, registration number, your own label, and the result once fetched.
- Your language, theme and notification preferences.
- Which notification topics your device has subscribed to.
- When you last opened the in-app notification list.
What our server stores
When a result is looked up for the first time, the app fetches it from the education board and keeps a copy on our servers (Cloudflare Workers KV). The next person who searches the same roll is served that copy instantly instead of adding load to the board's site on results day.

A published examination result is information the education board makes public — anyone with the roll and registration number can retrieve the same record from the board's own website. We store the result, not a record of you.
We do not log who performed a search. No IP address, device identifier, account or timestamp is recorded against a lookup. The cache cannot be used to work out who checked which result, because that information is never written down.
Notifications
Notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging and are sent to topics, not to
individuals. Your device subscribes to a topic such as ssc_2026; we publish
one message to that topic and Google delivers it. We never receive a list of which
devices are subscribed, and we hold no device tokens.
You can turn notifications off inside the app under Settings, or in Android's own notification settings for the app.
Analytics and crash reporting
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to find crashes. These record events such as “a result was looked up”, “the GPA calculator was opened”, or a crash report, together with information Google collects automatically — an app instance identifier, device model, operating system version and approximate region (country level).
Roll numbers and registration numbers are never sent to analytics. Analytics events carry only the exam and board, never anything that identifies a student.

Advertising
The app is free and is supported by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads are shown in places such as the News tab; they are never placed on the result form or over a result.
To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising identifier — a resettable ID that is not your name and can be reset or deleted at any time in Android Settings under Privacy › Ads.
- Device information such as model, operating system version and language.
- An approximate location derived from your IP address, at around city or region level. The app requests no location permission and cannot read your GPS position.
- Whether an ad was shown, viewed or tapped.
Your roll number, registration number and results are never shared with advertisers and are never used to target advertising.
Ads and younger users
This app is used by students who may be under the age at which they can consent to data processing. Where that applies, requests are marked accordingly and Google serves non-personalised advertising — ads chosen from the general context rather than from a profile built about the person seeing them.
Your choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings › Privacy › Ads.
- If you are in a region that requires a consent prompt, the app asks on first launch and you can change your answer later from that same prompt.

News articles
The News tab lists headlines from Bangladeshi newspapers' public RSS feeds. When you open an article, our server fetches that page and returns its text so it can be read in the app's own layout. The article is credited to the newspaper that published it and a link to their page is always shown. We do not record which articles you read.
Checking by SMS
The app can prepare a text message to the education board's short code and open your phone's messaging app with it filled in. The app never sends a message by itself — you press send, and your mobile operator charges you for it. The app holds no SMS permission and cannot read your messages.
Who your information is shared with
- The education board — the roll and registration number you enter are sent to the board's own result service in order to retrieve the result. That is the purpose of the app.
- Google — analytics, crash reports and notification delivery, as described above.
- Google AdMob — advertising, as described above.
- Cloudflare — serves the app's requests and stores the result cache.
We do not sell data, and we share nothing for advertising or marketing.
Children
Students taking these examinations are typically 13 or older, and the app is intended for ages 13+. It is not directed at children under 13 and has no in-app purchases. Where a user is below the age of consent in their region, advertising is served as non-personalised, as described under Advertising above.
Deleting your data
Everything the app keeps about you is on your phone. To remove it, delete saved rolls in the app, or clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
To ask for a cached result to be removed from our server, email the address below with the exam, year, board and roll number. Because a result is public information published by the board, removing our copy does not remove it from the board's own website.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. The result cache holds examination results only, and no credential, contact detail or payment information is collected anywhere in the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will also be announced inside the app.
