This Privacy Policy explains how Folafol ("the app", "we", "us", "our"), an independent Android application published by Tech Internal, handles information when you use it to check Bangladesh public examination results. Please read it together with our Terms of Use. By using Folafol you agree to the practices described here.
Folafol (ফলাফল) is an independent Android app that helps students and guardians in Bangladesh check public examination results — including JSC/JDC, SSC/Dakhil, HSC/Alim, and equivalent examinations — from all education boards. Folafol is published by Tech Internal and can be reached at techinternal@proton.me.
Folafol is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any education board, the Ministry of Education, or any government body of Bangladesh. Trademarks and board names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the relevant examination.
This policy applies to the Folafol mobile app and the pages on this website. It does not apply to the education board websites or any third-party service that the app may link to, each of which has its own policies. By downloading, installing, or using Folafol, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We designed Folafol to collect as little as possible. The table below summarises what is involved, why, and where it lives.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not require your name, email, or phone number to use the app.
Folafol is a mobile app and does not use browser cookies for its own features. It does include third-party software development kits (SDKs) that may use device identifiers and similar technologies: Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and its mediation partners including Meta Audience Network, Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging), and, when enabled, the Meta SDK for app-event measurement. These SDKs are governed by their providers' privacy policies, linked below.
Folafol is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners (including Meta Audience Network). These partners may use a resettable advertising identifier and approximate, IP-based location to select and measure ads.
Firebase Analytics records anonymous, aggregate usage events (such as which screens are opened) and Firebase Crashlytics records crash diagnostics, so we can fix problems and improve the app. We never include roll or registration numbers in analytics events. We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as follows:
Result lookups are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We limit what is stored, do not attach identities to cached results, and take reasonable technical measures to protect the service. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Folafol is intended for users aged 13 and above. Because many of our users are secondary and higher-secondary students, we serve non-personalised ads to users below the applicable age of consent and do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as to access, correct, or erase personal data). To exercise any right, email techinternal@proton.me and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Our providers (Google, Meta, Cloudflare) operate globally, so data may be processed on servers outside Bangladesh. Where this happens, it is handled under those providers' safeguards and privacy commitments.
The app may link to education board websites and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies separately.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
